Winter Shelter Helpers Needed

The Winter Shelter this year will be held at the Lancaster YWCA instead of local churches. This will provide a safe and secure place for the homeless women who will need a warm place to sleep in the cold of winter. St. James will be providing coverage for the shelter for the weeks of Dec. 5 to 11, 2011 and Jan. 9 to 15, 2012.

Training sessions for returning shelter workers or people who just want to learn more about it, will be held on Nov. 13 at 6:15 PM after Evensong and on Nov. 20 after the 3rd Sunday Brunch.
